I'd buy the 1190R tomorrow, and I've test ridden the 1190 Adventure and loved it, especially the gearbox/clutch and the engine of course but my wife finds the pillion position unacceptable and loved the comfort of the mts and Skyhook was a big contributor to that comfort.
I doubt that one is faster than the other, they are both mindblowingly quick and there are you tubes of both doing mental speeds.
I cannot comment on the relative speeds because I had different riding conditions during my comparative rides, but both would leave a GS for dust if that's what you seek.

The article, i read emphatically said that dealers were taking shortcuts with tooling. That was 10 yrs ago though and people are hoping that Audi's influence will sort this.
