I like the look of that. Do you have a link?I couldn’t get the adjustment I wanted with the OEM gear lever so fitted this which has a greater range of adjustment (as well as added bling factor) along with a matching rear brake pedal, shop soiled and direct from the manufacturer on eBay with a great discount.
Mine was an eBay purchase I think the vendor was the manufacturer Gilles, the quality is outstandingI like the look of that. Do you have a link?
That’s odd. My dealer is happy to quote yellow today, though I’ve had two slightly different delivery timing stories from two different dealers.Been to the dealer to discuss this today, they wont commit to a deal until early Jan when 27 pricing is finalised.

Mind me asking how tall are you ? I know/knew a few people with Busa's, but they tend to be more on the short in stature size. Here's my alternative to a V4s...surprisingly all day comfortable...power, erm....is available in all gears from any revsI can remove rear hump and use my kreiga drysack bags for luggage (very stable and allows 40 litres of storage) but will be fitting my tank bag and top box for next year as well.

What Satnav setup have you gone for? The Ducati bike integrated solution in the dash with sygic app on the phone looks a bit limited.I have ridden all three as well.
1300 GS - I have ridden this several times, once for a few hours. I find it too small, too harsh a ride and overly complicated. It feels to me like I have been disenfranchised by BMW. I wanted another GS and had every intention of buying one with my expectation being more of the same with a bit more speed. It was a massive disappointment to find that to me, the bike had lost its GS-ness.
KTM - I actually spent some time on the Super Duke GT 1390 and I thought it was fantastic. Brilliant suspension and fabulous power delivery. I would probably have bought one were it not for the slightly precarious state of their business. I also have reliability concerns with KTM and don’t want to get stuck in the Dolomites with a broken bike. The looks aren’t quite to my taste either and it bugs me that you have to pay extra to unlock features that are already on the bike. Very nice machine to ride though and I can see me owning one at some point.
Multistrada V4S. Well I bought one so I must like it? Yes, I do. The handling is amazing and it looks and sounds great. And the brakes are unreal. As said above, I am yet to experience the engine properly as it is limited to 6k rpm for now. But it is not perfect. I am irritated by the lack of space near my boots and have to shuffle around more for the gear lever. I agree about the wind protection although it is actually better than I was expecting. The panniers seem flimsy too but I am coming from the BMW adventure ones so that is a natural view to take. It is way too early to give a qualified opinion on it but what I can say is I am really glad I bought it and it makes me smile when I walk in my garage. It is very well designed in terms of user interface and having ridden it in the dark last night, the lights and backlit switchgear are excellent. Best lights I have ever had on a bike for sure. And one last thing. It has tech in it that when the front registers a bump, it sends a signal to the rear suspension to anticipate the same. I thought this sounded like a gimmick but it actually works and is really noticeable at any speed! The front hits a dent or a hole and you feel nothing as the back wheel passes over it. Very clever. Time will tell if I love it as much as my last GS1250 but the signs look good so far.
I started with the Sygic, but really couldn’t get on with it. I then fitted the XT 2 which I already had and later a Carpuride. I was happy with the Garmin but the Carpuride certainly has more functionality. What Satnav setup have you gone for? I have the XT2 and use the lower evotech mount so the nav sits below the sight line of the dash. I find this far better than the high level mount.I have tried Sygic and also the Ducati Connect app. The Sygic solution works but won’t be any good for touring. However the Ducati app is absolutely awful. So much so that I have deleted it from my phone.
As a solution, I have kept my Garmin XT from my BMW. I am waiting for Evotech to restock the mount for it and will fit that. This will mean it is similar to my GS as I didn’t connect my phone to that bike either because it was always a bit of a faff with connectivity between it, , Sena device, pillion helmet, nav and phone.
I do quite fancy one of these CarPlay compatible devices and can see me switching when either the XT packs up or Basecamp finally dies but I am quite wedded to the latter. I will switch to MRA at that point as I would like a larger display anyway. The XT3 would be a good option were it able to work easily with Basecamp but I think it struggles. Seems Garmin have lost their way a little on bike Sat Nav systems.
This is what I've had on both my V4s and will be transferring to the new one. Iconic Parts high-level mount (with metal wings if you do anything other than tarmac) BMW 4-button cradle and a cap screen Nav 6. Just the job for following pre-planned routes. Crap for anything to do with traffic or if you feel the need to watch telly as you ride along...I just use the Navi 6 on my supersports. I bought a Garmin zumo cradle, modified the wiring, fitted a mounting kit to my bars and wired the cradle into a spare switched live which most Ducatis now have. Works a treat.
I prefer the higher mount. I'm not keen on things that make me look down too often and I prefer to just read the satnav, rather than have the nice lady's voice nagging me...I have the XT2 and use the lower evotech mount so the nav sits below the sight line of the dash. I very rarely have audio on the sat nav. On the GS I found the high level nav distracting so prefer it low.
