Music from ipod to pc???

Hi folks, i`m writing this from my spanking new laptop With the whole of my music collection being on my ipod classic I`d like to be able to put it all onto my new computer without it syncing it and wiping it all off I`ve a ipod shuffle with some tunes on to practice with but have no idea how to do it?? I had some really good instructions but they seem to be obsolete now I`ve Windows 7 and an updated itunes.

Any help for a computer numpty will be much appreciated

Download sharepod from the web, its great and lets you back up your iPod to wherever you like, and you can import from it into iTunes.

I've just loaded i tunes onto a new lap top, and wanted to transfer all the music from my i pod classic into i tunes without losing it all.....I followed the instructions @ the link above...hey presto, worked a treat
