Music on the GS

Iv'e only ever had Sena

Went from the SMH5 to the 30K and initially hated it.

But only because its so complex compared to the 5, and the instructions are quite involved

Wasn't interested in assistants and always on etc.

Until you do a long road trip, and see what it can do ( Sena / Google / Alexa)

I just turn the Sena on in the morning, it syncs to the phone i tell it "music" as i walk out the door, and ive got music all the way to work

I can call home without pressing anything answer a call by talking

so for me its OK

Battery life & volume are the biggest gripes, but in a flip top lid its always going to be difficult

Would be interested in seeing an unbiased real life test of the latest Sena and Packtalk

My 30K is if anything too loud. Never have music on full. And when the phone rings:headphone Feck me Scares the shit out of me....:D
Battery has never let me down. Full, long days and its always been there. Might have to look at the voice control :thumb

Hi all.
Might have seen my other post on GS seat height ( new member) and i have had some great feedback - thank you.

As i am coming from a Harley to a GS i really would like to have music on a longer ride. I have a bluetooth helmet that i use on one of my smaller bikes that links to ipod and it works ok but a bit “tinny”.
I was wondering what you guys used for any music on the bike?
Does the TFT screen help any by allowing music to be managed via earbuds etc ?

Thanks again for the help so far.

Rowle.

When i started this post, i was expecting a couple of answers - 6 pages in and there is loads of info i can use !
Its also been good to get info on new kit as well as old.

For me, i use music every ride so thats paramount. - at least i only have to choose packtalk or Sena now.:bow:bow

Thanks everyone.
