Just coming off the M60 in Ashton, sitting at the traffic lights I happen to notice a bumblebee BMW F800GS. Possibly the first one I've seen out and about, the rider was wearing a KTM jacket and white TourX.

We both went in the same general direction, admittedly he was making better 'progress' with his choice of lane, and luckier with the traffic lights.

Anyhow, I was the white Tenere with the noticeably filthy rucksack, and the black TourX.

It was a TourX, I'd just decided to remove the peak. I have an awkward head which makes the 'medium' too big and the 'small' too small. When I've use the TourX I get a head ache after a couple of hours which might have something to do with the vibration of the peak. Normally if I'm going to use the motorway I tend to use my Laser, but with the double visor I do notice a restricted field of view, so I thought I'd try it without the peak, and I do like the 'unrestricted' view making over the shoulder checks a lot simpler. I didn't get a head ache, and the helmet 'seems' quieter, but then again I suppose it was a relatively short journey.
