Was it me or was there a monstrous puff of smoke (being polite) from the exhaust on the first part of that run??

Adie

Yet another shallow one falling into the trap of judging a bike by its power output or speed related performance and not its 'feel' or 'aura'....or satisfaction of ownership.

Naturally,it not being the latest plastic weekend toy to be featured in a monthly picture book for mouth breathing knuckle draggers means it`s a pile of poo.

I wanted to type that, but You did it SO Much Better Tarks:thumb2 :thumb2 :thumb2

They just don't get it :nenau do they ?????

I just liked listening to the old girl enjoying herself:rob

Look at the Torque... The tester cracked the throttle at 2800rpm which is why you have the step curve.

I would have liked to have seen it from lower revs.

Not sure what caused the smoke looks good though... I could try and claim it was the NOS kicking in.

The bits dropping off where clumps of dirt.

but then you'd have to say that, wouldn't you. ?

The CV carbs aren't brilliant with throttle response. Shutting the throttle quickly at higher revs puts too much fuel in briefly while the slides catch up. Del ortos or Mikunis would give a better response and a be a complete waste of time for what you use the bike for...be good bling though :D

I must admit Mike, The Shaftjack was quite impressive:D :D :D :D

BUT Some of us:augie know how to use that to our advantage:D :rob

shaftjack is great...

cracked the throttle and the bike goes into attack mode lifting it's tail and increasing the steering response... the bike comes alive

Yep, it also stops the rear suspension from working properly which is just what you need when accelerating hard on the rough. But then again, I'm just a soft lager drinking southen jessie that doesn't go off road on my beemer. Just to make sure I've got a wobbly bevel box!!!! You never know, I might just nip off to Dakar next week.
By the way, W.M. even if it "only" makes 42 bhp that bike is a stonker!!!!
