This is my take on the bling light thing.
I made solid billet aluminium caps to replace the plastic front on the standard GSA spots.
I added a ring of LEDs.
I made a simple micro switch system using waterproof Maplin switches. No need for big switches as i will never switch them off.
The FRF50s are relayed through the main beam.
The LED are powered direct from the acc socket, these are low current draw but fairly bright.
They stay on 3 minutes after i park up, how cool is that?

A grand job Pat, let down by the tape around the wiring to the switches. How can you let that one go and you an engineer'n'all? :augie :D:D

Nice one! :clap

I've thought about doing something similar, but using the same LEDs that you get on the front of new Porsches and placing them so close together that they appear as an actual ring.

Like the billet ally, not too sure about the tape though. :blast

top marks on the LED's they look good. the switches though, could do better. Bit of billet in there as well I think and some decent covering for the wiring.
