After 6 months and 6000 miles of use my W702 has given up the ghost. I’ve had to have several software updates sent to me to resolve glitches but this time it’s a bit more serious. Worked fine all the way down to Plymouth, got off the boat in Santander and it decided it doesn’t like Spain.

Screen works and it even connects but it’s not registering any touch input. To be fair to Carpuride they’ve been helpful and even sent me a video of how to dismantle it and check the small ribbon between the screen and the main unit which is just for the touch input but that hasn’t resolved it.

Bit inconvenient but they’ve said they’ll send me a new one so that’s good, although I might just sell the new one and buy either the Chigee or the Innov N1 Pro.

Any updates on getting it fixed?
I forgot to post an update, so Carpuride quickly arranged a new unit to be sent out, obviously it wasn't ideal as I had to do the rest of my Picos tour using my phone in a cradle on the bike but the new unit is working fine and they've not asked for the original back.

I think the new unit is a revised model (not the new Pro) because the old one had a black power connector and the new one has a slightly more slimmer yellow and black connector and on the main screen it now shows the voltage in the top right corner. Fingers crossed this one works consistently.

I have an N1 Pro on my M1000R, thats a good set up. Great footage front and rear although maximum clip size is 5 mins, they can be edited together though. The Android auto works well though occasionally it doesn't connect to my phone but I'm told that is a "sometimes problem with the S24 Ultra", its not a major issue and can easily be resolved by reconnecting in a few seconds.

Thanks - i am still at the stage of learning what is available and if i should replace the Nav 6 (which i think works well).

I had no real trouble with my Nav6 in terms of usage, except that it's not that easy to push routes to it quickly, but the screen ghosting issue was the main reason I sold it and ended up with a Zumo XT for a couple of years.
