Hello GS'ers,
Can anyone help? When I used to to connect my Konica Minolta Dimage camera to my computer,it used to pop up with a little box asking what i'd like to do next(put the pics in a folder etc.etc.)....It doesn't do this anymore, and for the life of me I can't download any pics onto the PC.
A pain in the butt when you've got loads of junk to stick on ebay!

Does anyone know what the problem is??

I'm running Windows XP which everyone tells me should recognise the camera as soon as it's plugged in. :eek

If everything was working fine before there may be a possibility that your USB lead may be knackered!!!!

You could try connecting everything up powering up the camera etc and going in to the control panel and adding new hardware......

I never bother with the camera manufacturers software unless I am in RAW & in that case I now use the direct photoshop plugin.
To your point, pull the card out & plug it directly into your pooter if you have slots & a card reader if you don't.
Or....Totally remove & reload you camera manufacturers software.

Thanks.....

...for all your help with this issue.
Took the camera back to the shop yesterday, and the customer services chap plugged it in to one of his computers and it still didn't work.
They're sending it back to the manufacturer for repair.Result! :thumb
