Hi Guys,
Just got back from a week's trail riding in spain, and had a load of trouble with my G650 XChallenge on the first day. Essentially after 20 miles of relatively easy riding my bike managed to put over a pint of oil into the air box.
As soon as i noticed the problem, more oil was sourced and the level checked and topped up, and after checking the amount i need to replace, There is no way i'd put to much oil in to start with.
So i'm now rather stumped. What is the likely cause of this? the bike shows no sign of smoke at all, has done less than 1000 miles since it's last service.
Air filter was cleaned before the bike was shipped to spain, but nothing present to indicate there was a serious problem at the time.
Bike also has plenty of compression.
Thoughts please,
Nathan
