I was going to post that when I saw it, but didn't cos I'd have been poo'poohed by others.
If you keep it they can't dispose of it and say "hard luck, storage charges were increasing and you wouldn't settle, so Tough Titty heres your Pitiful amount"

Pity I did not know this before because it was taken away last Friday. It was my first accident so not sure how it all works yet? I have not heard anything back from them yet either. I called yesterday and they said they were awaiting the engineers report, who was waiting for the bike repair shops report/quote. To be honest there is not much on the bike that was not damaged apart from the seat and the back end. Being an XTX it is not worth nearly as much as a GS, so I am not expecting a massive payout anyway.
