That 90s is a shed....you could always visit it on the Wirral if you sold it !!:augie:D

Blimey Lyn...keep the 1200 or the GSPD.....two totally different bikes !!!
If you are doing lots of touring then 1200 would take some beating...but for me, well I'd keep the airhead ( well I would say that wouldn't I :D) but if you are ( we know you will ) keeping the 90s then the 1200 should stay and bid farewell to the GSPD:(

But which one do you ENJOY the most ????

From a financial perspective the 1200 can only go down in value and cost you more money to run than any Airhead which is cheap to run and has zero depreciation.........they are also much nicer Bikes once you have got over the "I want to go faster" period in your life

If you do not need to the ride the 1200, sell it, as it will only depreciate more and you will lose money by holding on. Sell it now, (in the summer), as they appeal to the "sports" Bike crowd being just modern Bikes with the usual problems, i.e. expensive to buy and run, unreliable and depreciate like an "Alfa".

The 90S and R100GSPD will hold, or increase in value even if you put miles on them. You can use the R100GS as your "daily" rider and it will cost you a lot less to run than any oilhyead. It will also "slow" you down and allow you to "appreciate" what Bikes are about.

Simple - No contest, loose the Hexy Oilhyead, reduce your running costs and put some money into the bank before 1200 values drop below £5K. Use the Airhead and appreciate what BMW Biking is about, (once again), as well as saving money on insurance, maintenance, fuel and depreciation.........

I would ask the same question in the 1200 section

get a feel of what their opinion is
then sell the 1200

Its a shame I know but sometimes you have to be cruel to yerself
Having said that a mate of mine once advised me
"how much do you value it", followed by, "do you need the dosh now" then when the answers were together he said
"then sorn it and save it for a year or two" as the extra cost of getting another would be more than I saved for a short while

Best of luck pal in your decision, and with yer job :aidan
