Due to ongoing health issues, I'm sadly selling my bikes.
I'm near Oldham, Greater Manchester, 7 miles from Manchester city centre.
This is my 2007 GS, its a January 2007, its done 75,490 miles, but has been very well maintained, lots of BMW main dealer service receipts and Motorworks invoices, and has a clear HPi check from when I bought it. It comes with a huge amount of Touratech and Wunderlich parts and accessories. It will come with the Touratech Zega top box and rack, and the panniers which include brand new waterproof inner bags which have Touratech accessory brackets fitted. I can add on the Givi/Kappa carrier, top box and rack if wanted, by negotiation, otherwise will have the original parts refitted. The top box and panniers are lockable and come with several keys. I have also bought a second main key from BMW which cost £66, so you will have a spare coded key.
The bike has Heed upper and lower crash bars fitted, Touratech cylinder head guards, sump gaurd and fuel injector protectors, Touratech hand guard extenders, headlamp and oil cooler guards and screen extenders.
I bought the bike with the usual cracked alternator fault, I fixed this by fitting a warranted used unit from James Sherlock, costing almost £200, and a new Continental belt. The alternator is unmarked, I've soaked it in ACF-50 so it should last a few year! The bike passed every mot from new, with just 2 advisories, the last mot says the (EBC HH) brake pads are worn: they aren't! There's not a great deal of these when new, but I've bought replacements, EBC HH fronts and another make of sintered for the rear, these will come with the bike, or I will fit them if so required. I maintain all my bikes myself, I'm 63 and been working on bikes for decades, hence just parts invoices in my ownership. I fitted a pair of Daylight Running Lamps, these are the ones I fit to all my bikes, very well made and bright and have proved to be waterproof. I've added a Nippy Norman satnav power lead to go into the BMW harness which will stay with the bike when I remove my Zumo unit.
The bike comes with a Powerbronze extended screen, added when I bought the bike, I've got the standard screen as well, which is in great condition, no bad scratches etc.
The bike has done just 32 miles since the last mot, due to my health issues, but I'll retest it so it will come with 12 months mot.
The rear Continental Trial attack 3 is almost new, the front is brand new.
The Ohlins front and rear shock absorbers were completely stripped and rebuilt about 9,000 mies ago, costing £633, so they are working perfectly, one job I intended to do was respray the spring, they have some rusting spots which are purely cosmetic but detract from the good looks!
Ive added Alphadot security marking, this is transferrable, and I've got the remainder of the 'dots' bottle and paperwork, along with the very comprehensive paperwork.
This is a very well maintained bike, which in my view is more important than just looking at mileage, it runs perfectly, and comes with uprated suspension and new tyres: ready to ride anywhere, which was my plan! We planned a 4 week tour of Europe, which is why I bought this bike, I already own an 1100RT and Kawasaki Gtr1000 but I went for a better bike, but in reality its done less than 1000 miles in the last 3 years.
The bike has been stored in a garage and comes with a top quality Voyager outdoor cover which cost £52, as its now outside.
There's very likely more parts and accessories added, hopefully the pictures will show them, I can send more pictures or videos if required.
Please feel free to contact me with any questions, thanks for looking,
Mike
