i really wanted a new Ducati 1200 150bhp Multistrada, but we are flat out broke at the moment, so this is all I could afford, BUT at least it is pretty much the same colour.
It's a Honda CT 110 of the 2001 vintage, known over here in Aus as a Postie bike. Only paid $350 AU for it and it shows.
it's been stood for about a year, it runs (allegedly - flat battery), but when you select gear, it does not engage and go, so to speak. There is a whole host of other mainly cosmetic stuff that needs attention on it, as well as probably a load of other mechanical / electrical stuff that I haven't noticed.
I'm not the most mechanically minded person I know, so this will be interesting.
The reason the bars are dropped down and it looks slightly worse than maybe it should do, is I had to fit it into the back of our Renault Scenic to bring it home.
My wife and daughter have nicknamed it Pedro and for some reason are desparate to have a go on it. My Gixxer Thou never inspired this much enthusiasm.
Pics below for those who fancy a laugh.
cheers
