My Race for Life

On the 15th July, I'll be doing a 5k run for 'Race for life', raising as much money as I can for the fight against cancer, as well as making myself look like a bit of a tit in my bright pink Tutu

I started 'power walking' (yes, the one where your bum demolishes beach huts and small children are thrown into the sea ) In January, and progressed to hobbling, jogging, trotting and now proper running

I've lost about 16 LB since I started doing it, and Bill has found odd pointy bits on me that weren't there before (Hips, I think he said they were )

If anyone else is doing this race, please give me a shout, we can act like eedjits together if you like- I'm sure we'll have lots of support on the circuit

If there are no objections I would like to dedicate my Race for Life to Jamie after seeing the huge effect his passing had on Bill (he stopped drinking for months )

We all know people who have been affected by cancer.
As well as the money for research, positive thinking is one of the best treatments, so on this race, I'll be thinking of someone else here and wishing him the best in his fight- thanks for delivering that champagne to the BGT Mike
