Just worked out how to post photos,so i thought i would show you my sunny day bike.1997 Speed Triple 900,Six speed box,six pot calipers,Yoshimura 3-1 race exhaust, with titanium can,k&n filter.I have owned the bike from new,and will never sell it.I used the bike in all weathers for about 6 years, and have spent the last couple of years tidying it up over the winter months.

can

Its a yoshi 3-1 front race pipe fitted with a straight through race can.The pipe was originally off a speed triple challenge bike, and came without a can when i bought it.The pipe is 50mm dia so pretty much any can can be made to fit.

Lovely bikes, mine from a few years ago.

Lovely looking bikes and set to be a future classic

I had a 1200 Trophy, does that count?

Never really worked out why they bothered putting brakes on it :nenau

Engine braking was phenominal

If it wasn't for that bike I probably wouldn't be here now.

Not quite a Speed Triple.....

My '93 Trident, also owned from new, Micron race cans and sounds like a Spitfire

(just checked, 15 years old today, Happy Birthday Trident!)

Trident

Before i bought my Speed Triple i had a Trident 900,great bike,Green & cream.I first saw the ST in the 1993 NEC bike show, stole the show as far as i was concerned, knew then i was going to own one eventually,i bought the Trident in 95 as my first big road bike, loved it,then moved on to the ST in 97.A mate of mine has an ST exactly the same as mine, same colour, same extras etc, they sound awesome together on full chat.:thumb2:thumb2

Daytona 955

Bought my Daytona in Aug 2006 as it was one of the last and they were selling them off at the frankly ridiculous price of 6k.

Love it! Sounds awesome. Looks good especially with it's union Jack nose fitted and makes me feel special everytime I ride it. This one's a keeper, that's for sure!

Ooooh look - a swingarm copied from a 1983 kawasaki.....:mmmm

don't really like ém myself.

Apart from the top heavy feel when riding it sounds like theres a bloke inside the engine with a big hammer - trying to get out.

i think all BSA and triumph twins ( and all other brit bikes) looked very similar in the 60's :nenau

...but it was the engine from the BSA they actually copied
