Only have the bike but plan a few bits....

Gonna get an MRA screen, Tenere tank pad, world crosser decal set - now before anyone starts saying "stickers??"" they are to lift the colour a litte. I bought the matt grey model ( which is savage :cool ) but the yellow decals will lift it a litte.

Oh, a hugger too. Got a link at home for some Italian crownd form here or www.yamahasupertenere.com Seen the pyramid lone but it dont look great for the price of it.

Not much else planned but if anyone has any links for enhancing the bike, it'd be most welcome.

Not sure about spots, I find the stock lights fine so far.

The only mod I have done to mine is fit a GPR tri oval end can. It is the best 200 quid I've spent on a bike :)! Seems to give it a little bit more oomph and sounds ace especially with the baffle out!

The best bang for buck is to sort the ECU out to remap the engine - makes a massive difference.

>>> HERE <<<

I think the best bang for the buck is shorting the clutch switch. 10p :)

Other mods I have done... Wilbers shock, MRA X-creen, Touratwat crash bars, Baglux tank cover and Cross'r bag, Holan panniers, Givi aluminium top case rack, Givi Trekker 52, SW Motech fog lights, Pyramid hugger, titanium Arrow silencer. It is just as addictive buying bits for the Super Ten as it was for the GS. :o

Luckily I got most of the stuff either used or at a hefty discount. :thumb

Cheers,

Matt

+1 :thumb2

£30 on O2 eliminators gives a much more agressive throttle response, especially noticeable in sport mode - touring mode is improved, but still soft enough for poofs.

Suspension, like most bikes, is abit cheap and cheerful, and for two-up a better shock makes a huge difference, I also went with Wilburs. Re-springing the forks makes for a much smoother ride.

Rest is down to personal preference.

If looking at exhausts for power it would appear the headers make a igger difference, Arrow show an 8BHP gain for a system, but only 2BHP with just the end can.

My Headers will be here on Thursday so will have a better idea of the difference soon :D

tks tobers.

MRA screen ordered.....Also, found a link for a very tasty hugger. I must post up the link.

@ Monty: any chance you could throw up a pic of the hugger on your S10 ?

Cheers.

Here are a few pics of the hugger. I am really pleased with the fit and look of it. The pics were taken immediately after fitting, so some of the crud on the exhaust etc were from before.

As for exhaust, power is not my motivation. I just like bling and a bit of a fruity sound. It also improves the way the bike feels to me, especially combined with the clutch switch mod.

If you want any more pointers or photos of the other mods just let me know.

Cheers,

Matt

Hi matt.

cheers for that. those pics look better tgan what pyramid have. £95 is pricey so do u reckon its serves tgr purpose & worth the bucks?

tgat end can u mention sounds good....did u need to fit power commander with it or just slip on? If u could get side shot with pipe & hugger that will cover it!! Cheeky request :)

tks mate.

OK, my dealer couldnt get me the "yellow" crosser decals, I managed to get the "red" set.

I was kinda thinking the red was a bit flat but what do you think? I will offer a few of the dcals up to the bike the weekend and throw up another pic. Took this one last night so trying to get a gauge what it will look like.

I t may go with the matt grey colour

The decals a RED with a dark backing.

Where did you get the decals from? most yammy dealers wont supply em or the worldcrosser parts unless you order a worldcrosser new from what i've heard.(edit) just checked yam uk and they are now supplying the kit does'nt include prices though?

Before you fit the decals why don't you contact 2 Wheel Humvee on here and see if he can make you up some yellow ones using your red ones as templates?

The yellow looks far better than the red IMHO

Local dealer, someone who bought a crosser didnt want em...If they are being sold as separate Id buy a new pair in yellow depending on price. But a crosser kit is expensive. Over 1000k euro here (i think ).

I know someone who can do decals over here and had thought of that myself last night. I hear you re yellow.

Gonne see what the red look like offered up, will certainly be dIfferent.Yellow may be a bit too much bmw... :)

So got the MRA screen I had planned, chuffed with it.

Also got the knee grips too - these are a YAMAHA official part so they can me gotten. Worked a treat over some very bad mountain roads today. Very worthwhile getting these.

Took photos along Sally Gap & Military Road, both in Wicklow.

It was rather bleak up there today, raining, misty & windy. Not be much traffic at all up there, spooky on your own with no ph singnal. Its a knarly bumpy road, tight too but the S10 lapped it up. Few moments spent with the front aloft in "S" mode ;)

Right...havent really been on here much....mad busy.

MRA screen, side winglets & WC sticker kit.

Getting around to a sump gard, possibly a hugger and not sure what else yet. Might throw a can on, but not buying a power commander to smooth it out :pullface

The GIVI bars I got a fooked already, rusting to bits but they will be getting replaced.
