My wheels...out with the old, and in with the re-furbed

The RA2 Evo tyre is a good fit to the RT, so I think you'll like 'em on the GS.

I like them :-)

Did they strip the wheel to its constituent parts, coat and plate then reassemble or do they have very steady hands!?

Dis-assembled into constituent parts; I opted to have 2 new sets of spokes.......:D

Keith, is the anodising on the rims similar to the satin "semi-crinkle" effect on the new GSA?

Could you pm me the cost details please :thumb2

Stu.

Stu, the anodising produces a 'textured' effect in both look and feel....the samples that they showed me were just a bit different to the norm and I preferred it to the powder coat finish.....I'll PM you now :D

hi mine are in need of some TLC also, could you PM me the price please, also did you let them have wheels less discs and tyres or did you need to strip down more than that ?? cheers Richie

Richie - I had my old tyres removed @ a local dealer, and Hagon removed the discs, bearings & grease seals. When I collected my wheels, I then took them to my service chap who fitted the new tyres, new bearings, grease seals, discs, disc bolts, bobbins & crush washers. Will PM you the full details of what I had done.
