Hi folks,
I'm currently following a couple of R100R mystics on ebay.

Whilst I understand that anything is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it,a ball park figure as to the value of the above bike would be nice,I've tried to do a bit of searching but without much success.

Anybody any thoughts as to value ?
thanks,
Steve

Best ask .....Mystic Meg -

Safe a bet as any !

Looks a great bike though - and guess price is all down to condition and mileage, but bound to be a good investment, and a good looking machine for touring.

If you can get one for £2800 you'll be really lucky. Expect to streach to upwards of £4500K for a really nice geuine low milage late model, maybe more. I'd say £3500 would get the one that's on ebay at the moment.

Depends on how keen the guy is to part with it :nenau

You can get a good one here for $5K which is significantly less than your 5K. :D Had one, it was a competent bike but not very engaging. It would make a good base for a cafe racer.

It got to £3850 a couple/three of weeks back which is probably what it's worth. There is very little history with the bike so it might be a 50k miler going for low miler money.

According to bmbikes the total production run for the mystics was only 3700 machines so they are pretty rare, prices will be high now that airheads are on the potential classic radar - the annoying thing with this is that we have people with no real interest in the bikes bumping up the prices on the off chance that they may be worth something. You just have to look on this site to see this.

Its funny how things turn around ,tried to sell a r100r last year and could,nt give it away ,now there through the roof ,but missed one on gumtree a couple of months ago 50000 miler the guy was wanting £850 for it .Airhead prices vary so much.

Just a thought.....Nip into WH Smiths.....

This month's (May issue) 'Classic Bike' magazine page 124

1996 R1006 for sale. Luggage/history/immaculate etc....Doesn't say Mystic, but it does claim to be one of only 3700 made, which fits in with what Rob Farmer says.

£3,500 and not too far away in South Yorkshire....:)

Nothing to do with me but happy to PM phone number given in the magazine.

Please don't pull this bike to bits.

Converting the old ST's into g/s's is sin enough. But to convert a Mystic has got to be as close to sacrelige as you can get outside the church.

These bikes arn't just the rarest R100's they are by far the best looking. If you really want a GS. Sell the Mystic (which should gain a good price, with the propper advertising) and buy one.:nenau You should be able to get quite a nice one for the money you're likely to get for this one. :thumb2
