Hi guys, I've finally given up with my Schuberth C4 Pro and the Schuberth SC 1A comms. Contrary to reviews and tests I find the helmet very noisy (maybe my one is a Friday afternoon special) and as importantly the SC 1A comms just keeps quitting. The problem is most certainly with the battery connection I think (known SC1 fault). One minute it works, the next nothing will bring it to life. Call me a wuss but I like the voice Nav prompts especially on very long days/stretches of motorway and have become somewhat reliant on them. I've removed the battery countless times, I've packed it out with rubber/paper to hold the battery in position etc etc. Anyway it went back to the dealer yesterday and I've ordered an X-Lite X1005 Ultra Carbon helmet and the N-Com B902 X to most importantly see if it fits. I have a 3XL head, no comments thank-you ;-). The dealer had an XL on the shelf and it almost fitted so I'm hoping the 3XL will be perfect.
And so to the question. What experiences do forum members have with the N-Com 9 series or indeed the X1005 Ultra Carbon. I understand the Comms are made by Sena and will be compatible with my wifes SC1 A in her C4 Pro and my RC4 remote for volume control etc as the Wonder Wheel does not work with any system other than BMW's.....
Stay safe and well.
Tony
