N.E. Scotland Ride out Sunday 22nd March

That's me home. Thanks Andy for organising :thumb2 Good to meet all of you. It was a fine ride :oonyack

That was fun, mostly :D Cold, in places, wet in other places and scarily windy in others  well, for me anyway.

Thanks to AndyT for organizing and leading the merry band. Nice to meet some new faces and old mugs. I deceided against The Lecht on the way home and it was lovely and sunny all the way back on the main road

Then I got home.....just turning into my drive and stall ! wobble !! crash !!! :blast:augie

Scratched engine bars and a broken indicator, ah well, could have been worse

Roll on the next one. :thumb

Must have been you lot!

Saw a heap of Tossers gawping over the edge of the Cragiallechie bridge at about mid day. Nobody pishing over the edge or tombstoning, so must have been Tossers

Then they held up the traffic through Rothes as they headed south at about 2pm - I think Ronno was holding up the rear

I was on the Africa Twin heading tuther way through Rothes. You know, the one with the 'ickle blue lights on the front :augie

It was indeed ourselves, I noted that quite a few of you were wearing similar DayGlo jackets on with the same badge too:augie You don't know who was racing round in the 5 Series BMW with blue flashing lights on the parcel shelf by any chance.

I really enjoyed myself today and a good turn out too. I do hope that Jukin was a no show rather than just late as we did hang back for you but had to leave to pick up Odd Ball at Bridge of Alford.

Nice to meet old and new faces, special thanks to those who travelled from afar namely Ronno. Dennis Milne and ItWasnaeMe who all must have done 340 - 380 miles today.

It was a tad windy (read blowing a gale) but great fun and excellent lunch in the Tea Rooms. The ride back was great and the Lecht was actually nice and sunny but breezy. We stopped in Aboyne for another Coffe however Nakambale headed for home. It was at this point I realised we didn't have Phil or Dennis with us any more either:P

See you all next time. Oh and here's a few cr4p pics as I couldn't be bothered with to many as the weather was overcast and new they would turn out poor.

Thanks ab'dy for makin the effort (even Floyd managed tae dae aboot twenty miles in total :D)

:beerjug:

The ride to the meeting place took aboot 2 minutes, then a short run to Glenlivet. It took me longer to clean the bike than to go on the run:D. Good to meet some new faces. Hopefully the next run will be a bit longer(someone mentioned meeting in Leven:augie)

'Arcoubount (although he never got his pads today)

Na I ended up in the Glen Coe area, weather precipitated a' the time and the wind it blew. Intended to stay in the SYHA bit came hame :(
Would hae been better on the run methinks.
