Hi all,
Having got a Zumo 660 2011 model, very recently secondhand but in very good condition, have got all the info downloaded on to computer from the disc but the mapping is naff to say the least,it only show's A roads and M/way's,no B road's,
It say's it's a city navigator europe 14.10,
Do i need another disc to get detail or are they on there someware.
Im not fully converse in computer speak either so ime a numbhead on this thing.cheer's

Check the Map detail. it may be set on 'Low'.

Tools-Settings-Map.

what he said plus reduce the scale right down to see the minor roads :D

most up to date map is 2012.4 , if possible i would register your device at garmin and pay for lifetime map updates £75

Do you have the main mapping checked in the Map Properties within the menus. Sounds to me like you're only looking at the basemap.

Also be aware that not all of the mapping for your region may be loaded onto the Zumo, if there are tiles (each country consists of a number of there) missing where you are then you will only see the basemap.

The basemap is a very course map with only main roads and major cities, the roads are of a point to point nature and don't follow the real thing very closely, cities are just annotated dots.

MANY THANK'S

As in the title thank's for all the reply's,all is sorted now,Have had 660 connected several time's and nothing has happened, but for some reason,i dont know how or if it was me (spuddling about),it started to down load more mapping and the detail is all on there now.:bounce1
