Narrow aluminum panniers for the 650

I am looking for some aluminum panniers for the 650 Dakar, but I'm after some that are narrower than the bike. I've looked at the Touratech ones and the overall width is 900MM what I'm really looking for are panniers that increase the width to about 800/850MM. I've also looked at Metal Mule and Jesse.

Most panniers seem to start at 35L are there any around at about 25 or 30L?

have you spoken to Paul from Metal Mule or just looked at the website?

I think that these can be built to order. Worth giving him a ring if you haven't already done so.

Have a look at the Happy Trails stuff from the US. Given the current exchange rates they could be a good option.

Thanks for the swift replys. I've not actually spoken to Paul from MM so that might be my next option. I'll try Happy-trail as well.

I had a though of borrowing a Zega pannier from a friend then taking it to a metal frabricator and getting him to make one to the same spec only norrower? this way I caould still use the Touratech mounting kit.
