Hi All. suffering a painful hip at the mo and it doesn't look like I'll get it sorted before a euro trip mid June. I have a standard GSA seat I find very comfy riding, but it aggravates my hip when at a stop, perhaps due to the saddle shape / width. I have a rallye bench seat that works well for my hip, but my arse is dying after an hour. Does anyone know of an all-in-one solution?
Would a Touratech Comfort Low seat do the job? I don't really need the low but it looks a bit narrower up front and less height would mean less hip flex. I also sea Touratech do a comfort bench seat, has anyone tried that? It's a lot of money at £450.

Thanks all!

I now have a Sargent seat and prior to that the Touratech seat and both feel wider to me than the standard (NOT the bench seat)

The Touratech was quite uncomfortable for me hence why I now have a sargent seat (worlds different) but they are wide

If you are happy with your current seat - have you thought about maybe getting it re-shaped/re-modelled by a seat upholsterer to suit your requirement? I had my GS seat re-modelled for similar reasons to you and now have no issue at all. Cost (for me) was just under £100. I took it in and waited and it was all done in under an hour. I used Viking Motorcycle seats - which are close to Brands Hatch

My Tony Archer seat for my old 1150GSA was taller but a lot narrower. Felt very comfy and wasn't forcing my leg into an odd position at standstill - I could get my feet to the ground much more easily. Worth thinking about in terms of getting your seat remodelled, but you'd need to get someone who understands to do it rather than a formulaic 'bung a pad of memory foam in' type affair.
