The Highlands of Scotland.
Is this weekend. Bit late for an entry now, but it's a brilliant excuse for 36 hours riding all over Scotland in exchange for a cheap badge and certificate. Traded it this year for a trip to Ireland in October, but will be taking part next year as part of a three man Laverda team.
 
Could be, must be said that most of the entrants seem to be from south of the border. The Scottish event is part of the 3 Nations Challenge along with the ACU National Rally (the biggie in England) and the Welsh, but the Scottish is easily the smallest, which I don't really understand as it offers the best biking.

Last year we did something like Inverness-Aviemore-Aberdeen-Braemar-Blairgowrie-Dalwhinnie-Ft William-Oban-Tyndrum-Crianlarich. Absolute belting run, but you can plan a route pretty much anywhere over Scotland as long as you hit the checkpoints on the way. The longest run is 650 'rally' miles so you do have to crack on as this can be more like 750 on the road...
