just bought NAUTILUS horn from nippy Normans, can you just plug and play on 06GSA, or do you have to use a relay wired to battery

Maybe.............

Nippy also sells a wiring harness/connector to connect the new horn to the original wiring so you don't need to cut wires and make joins, the NN harness is not cheap but it's plug and play, doesn't register fault codes and is easy to revert back to the original horn if you sell the bike or take on a new career delivering pizza

It will pull too many amps, the brain will recognise this as a problem and shut it down. You will need a seperate relay and power from the battery or a fusebox. You can connect the NN cable to the OEM horn connector to use as the trigger wire to the relay if you don't want to alter the wiring.

Me too!!! just picked it up from post office yesterday. Cant wait to try it, bet it's loud as f*ck

yep, when you connect it directly, it sounds for less than a second and then "trips", so too much current needed. need to get a fuse today and will wire it up with the today. btw, its f"^ken loud...made the kids jump a few times

can someone confirm the wiring connections of the relay
pin 30 - battery (+)
pin 85 - ground (-)
pin 86 - OEM horn Switch (+)
pin 87 - Nautilus Horn (+)

Do a search on advrider.com. A few guys mounted it on the GS but split the compressor and horn.
