Nav 2 wiring

Is the Nav 2 wiring from BMW that connects into the wiring loom, from an ignition switched or permanently live?

if its on a 1200 then its on the ignition [at least it switches of when the ignition is turned off] but i think nippy norm & touratech do a gizmo that stops the nav from being turned off

And on the 1150?

On the 1200 it's on the ignition . . . but the power to the gps stays of a few minutes after you switch the ignition off.
