Just trying to sort my new nab v out.

It says i need to install european maps which i try and do it takes ages gets to 16mins then goes no further?

Ive put a 16g sd card in .

Any help please?

Are you trying to load them onto the computer as well ?
If so try doing them seperately through Garmin express
There is an advanced options bit in the download part that allows you to choose devices

These are BIG files. If you have a water powered internet connection it will take a long time. Add in that your computer might shut down if it reads a very slow download as no activity and you can maybe start to see the problem.

I suggest:

Check / alter your PC's sleep function.

Download to PC only first, then install the maps onto your device.

If it's a slow internet problem you're welcome to drop round to mine sometime to load them. Leave it at ours if you wish & either go for a ride or pop back the next day to pick them up - whatever fits your requirements best.
