Nav V question

Will a Nav V satnav fit in the BMW Nav 1V bike mount and work?
That's the type with the buttons down the left hand side.

yes, a Nav V fits where a Nav IV fits

I recently changed from a IV to a V, so knew the answer. Some have commented that the shape of the backplate is slightly different on the V and that this makes it slightly more difficult to lock it into the mount. I personally have not noticed this but, that said, I have always compulsively checked the Navigator (be it IV or V) to make sure it was securely locked in.
