I have to agree about the reflective screen - why the feck did they do that?

It should do. The Nav V did. I cant imagine why it would perform worse.

How do you play music from phone? I thought music had to be loaded onto SDCARD? (Im referring to NAV V dont know about NAV VI)

Thanks

Ian

I paired my iPhone to the Nav. Then my Sena headset to my Nav. Then it just worked.

Ok I guess you still need to control the music using the phone not the navigator?

I have Cardo G9 headset so I assume it will work the same. Currently I load mp3 onto Nav V and use its player, I guess this is probably easier to control via the navigator instead of the phone?

Thanks

Ian

No, I could control from the Nav.

I only used the Nav for 20 mins on the ride home from the dealer but I was able to control it. Not sure on volume but I would guess that's ok. Just need to get used to the click wheel controls

But can you also control music on your phone from the NAV V? (Maybe new feature on NAV6?)

How did you you control music from the navigator?

From the screen of the Nav, from the Spotify app on my iPhone, and it also looked like you could do it from the click wheel but I was only on the bike for 15-20 mins so didn't delve deep enough

Auto brightness

Can one of the lucky owners of the nav vi shed some light on the auto brightness (which is rubbish on the nav v)
I would like to know if auto brightness can be tweaked (brighter in low light levels)

You can control previous or next track via scroll wheel on your bike.

My bike displays tyre pressures in PSI but the Nav V will only show in BAR. Anyone know if the Nav 6 has the option to display BAR or PSI?

I had hoped they would have updated the interface a bit but it looks very much the same. Anyone seen the traffic notifications yet? On the newer Garmins it displays them on the right hand side with distance to the congestion instead of just the amount of time on the left

I find it very good.

Looking at the NAV 6 the music streaming feature with NAV 6 playing and controlling music from the phone is a new feature for the NAV 6 not available on the NAV 5

The NAV 5 needs mp3 stored in its memory/sdcard then you can use the nav 5 to play/control the music. I prefer this option as it doesn't drain the phone battery playing music continuously via bluetooth.
