NAV VI Video camera

Yes. I'm aware of that.
I have a garmin virb elite which can be viewed on the nav 6.
I'd just like to see it working.

Not a Nav VI but you will get the idea, there's not much difference between a 590

That's a bit of an anti climax. You can't even see what you're filming on the camera.:blast

Yer average bikermate needs to have their full attention glued the display's magenta line.

Reviewing of the epically awesome hoon can wait until it's kicking back'n'chillin' time, preferably with like minded souls.

Silly me; I thought it would be handy for taking still pictures while hooning the awesome steed. Oh well, back to the drawing board.:D

It'd also be handy to check that the camera is actually pointing in the direction you want it to (helmet mount) and not filming blank sky or the road.

Of course if you all you wanted to do was check that your Virb was set up correctly on your helmet, you'd use your smart phone.

But hey, anyone with a Virb would probably know that, I guess. I didn't so I Googled it. Roughly at 1:04 on the video.

I'd rather push the dial on the left handlebar and access the video mode on the move rather than.
Pull over
Stop
Open jacket
Remove smartphone
Open smartphone
Open garmin connect app
Wait for connection
Etc ......
I think you get the picture

The bod just wanted to check that the camera was glued to his melon case correctly.

You'd like to do tons more.

But hey, Nutty's found out he can take snaps as he hoons and the other fellow has found out that he can check the angle of dangle of his helmet before setting off. Two out of three ain't bad. Awesome, in fact.
