I had a problem during an update download which prompted me to contact Garmin, after a couple of calls they told me to delete Basecamp and re install, since then I am having problems. I created a route from home (Lancashire) to S Wales, it took me along the M6 onto M56 ok but when I came to exit onto the A49 the sat nav wanted me to carry on the M56. I stopped and when I tried to re start the route found it had reversed and was going from S Wales to home. Since checked the route on PC which is correct.
I also stated to get a message saying do I want to switch to car mode which has never appeared before.
On the second route I followed this ok for about 35 miles and then searched for a petrol station, I was prompted did I want to add this to me current route and when I selected Yes it gave me 2 choices to go back to the start or the previous waypoint 9 miles back. Usually it asks if you want to start from a current location or the start, this time that was not available.
Garmin are at a loss and have passed onto the Tech dept but no response yet, they did suggested a master re set.
Has this type of issue happened to other users?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated
