Navigator IV + Multi-Controller (wheel thing)

Without question.:rob Call it an early Christmas present to yourself.:beerjug:

Well, havent bought one yet but test riding one tomorrow. Was looking good till today but the trade in they have offered me for my S1000RR is a piss take so I may have to wait for private sale - but I`ll test it anyway :)

Turning the "wheel" you can make it show 1, 2, 4 or 16 fields. each time you turn the whhel a new screen is shown. You can also configue which information is shown at any screen.

for example, on my "V" I use:

on 1 fiels screen: SPEED

on 2 fiels screen: SPEED + AVERAGE SPEED

on 4 fiels screen: SPEED + AVERAGE SPEED + AND 2 OTHER THAN I DON'T REMEMBER ( My GPS is on the bike and I am away...)

on 16 fiels screen: all teh above + tire pressure, engine temperature and ambient temperature, altitude, GPS precision, etc

Andre

Did you set yours up to show the speed on the 1st & 2nd screens, or was already that way when you purchased it? - Mine only shows tyre pressure on the 1st screen and tyre pressure and odometer on the the 2nd screen. In fact I can't even see speed in the 16 field screen ?

I bought a Sena SMH10 to do this last week, but it's no good unfortunately - music quality is rubbish, you can barely hear it, no bass at all. Outbound calls simply don't work, and inbound calls aren't feasible because of wind noise on the mic. It's going back to the supplier later today.

Cheers
Jimmy

I have used the SMH 10 for years and have found it the best Blue Tooth headphone out there! Ask me how many of the others I cycled through to come to this decision ? Perhaps you have a dud or your installation is not right , or Volume not adjusted. My volume on max hurts my ears ! Base is the best out of the ones I tried , nit could be a little better for Rock , but other than that I rate it as one of the best value for money accessories I have purchased.

I don't think it was the installation because we tried it with other Nav IV's. It's all academic now though, it went back to the supplier (who was completely unsurprised that it didn't work correctly). I'm waiting for the rumoured Shoei bluetooth unit for the Neotec instead.

I had a 2010 Neotec and it was a very heavy and noisy Helmet. Back then they were using a third party Bluetooth can't remember who . Concept of designing to take the Bluetooth is good although a lot of helmets allow easy installation theses days. I would like to see a Helmet with solar panels to charge the Bluetooth reckon this would be great !

They didn't make the Neotec in 2010. Perhaps you had a Multitec?

ps I recently got the Nav V, it's a huge improvement over the Nav IV, wheel works like it ought to, better display, better brightness control. Excellent.
