Neareside indicator button

I have a 2005 1200 GS, the nearside indicatoe button does'nt always work give it a good spary with WD40 and it works for a while then stops again. Now even WD40 does'nt always fix it, any one had similair issue and anyone sugget a fix.

yeah... mine went funny 2 years ago, but got it replaced under warranty...

That doesn't help does it :rolleyes:

I think someone on here has stripped the switch gear and sorted it.. am sure they will be along in a mo :aidan
 
try acf 50........it has worked really well for me.......wd 40 is a very temporary switch fixer.
 
wd40 or acf50 will not work, the switch gear internal workings have a rubber sheath over the switch to stop moisture getting into the copper. and you can not buy switch gear components, you have to replace the entire unit. £133. excl labour. ~I have had to replace both left and right switches. both 6 months our of warrantee. at a total cost of £400+.

my rhs went a week ago on a '05 bike... £130+vat the bmw price... I called James Sherlock (link at top of page) and got a rhs one for £60 yday. Seemed like a top bloke on the phone (I hope the part arrives!)..

Call them, if they are breaking a bike, they ll def have the LHS bits leftover after I got the RHS.....! sorted..
