Hi Guys! Happy New Year!

I'm posting from Nor Cal, USA and heres my bike :D:

As you can see, I found a very nice vintage Elephantboy tank bag to go along with the rest of the bike. Unfortunately, it's not the "correct" base for a BMW. Mine is flat, whereas the dedicated base curves down in the rear to match the tank.

Can anyone tell me where I might locate a base for my bag? I also need a rain cover and I think that Harro might still manufacture one but I don;t speak German and Harro does not answer my emails (Maybe they don't speak English! :nenau), so I'm hoping that someone here can help me locate these parts and communicate with the folks at Harro..

Thanks,

Ken Whitehawk
Airhead #85 USA

Hi ken, Welcome to the wetside of the Atlantic.

I recognise that lovely airhead.

Rainvovers are still listed on their website. I ordered one without any problem when I had a Harro so if you want one ordering and then forwarding on to you just drop me a line on Advrider if you cannot post here.

Covers are here http://www.harro-shop.de/protective-cover-for-tank-bag-p-916.html

That is a beautiful bike... :thumb2

(Have to agree with 'jackass' though, re. the rocker covers)

change those rocker covers to nice round ones ,will look so much better ,lovely bike though,

Sorry but those are a set of very rare CC Products "Cool Covers" that date back to the 80's. They're much quieter than the Peanut covers and instead of using gaskets, they're equipped with O-rings.

For the time being, they're staying on the bike!
