Shhhh :augie

how much green laning? if its 600yards per year, then go fully road biased with a BT021. GS then becomes proper giant killer on the twisties...

Superb tyre...My next trailee (it wont be a GS if Honda make the V4) I ll ask for full road tyre from scratch...

I had Mich Anarkees in the beginning and Tourances afterards. Night and day between those and a smart street tyre... Apparently Mich Pilots are a gd fit for the GS too...

not sure how much green laneing im gonna do, i used to do a lot, every weekend. but that wason a Honda XR400... this GSA is a lump and gonna take some getting used to.

TKC's are good road tyres and will take you up most green lanes. Superb on dry gravel but ain't so good on deep mud as they become clogged. Good enough for most green lanes though and I reckon that if you are in a place where they lose grip, you shouldn't be there on a GS!!

Most of the traillie type of tyre i.e Annakee's, Battle Wings, Tourance's etc do the sme job and are great on road but don't take your bike on very slippy surfaces as you'll be on your arse.

The GSA is good off road but is way too heavy for the really tough stuff.

My advice is try a set of TKC's and see how you get on. There is nothing finer than out running a power ranger round the twisties just before turning off to take a green lane home:thumb
