Having taken delivery last Tuesday of my new 1200 GSA, we went to Cornwall for the weekend.
With my wife as Pillion and the usual weekend luggage my firtst thoughts are:

More power.
Better brakes (hardly touched the back brake).
Lighter, although fully loaded the front end feels almost too light and a little twitchy ? Especially in strong winds.
Better screen, much less buffeting.
At about 90 mph the wind resistence feels like the power is 'hunting' or surging ?
Better lights.
Harder seat (although it is new, I know)
More comfortable riding postion.
More room for Pillion (according to her).

On the whole I am, as yet impressed and just a little bit overjoyed !

Comments anyone ?

Agreed - my '09 GS with just a Remus can feels almost as pokey as my '07 did with a full system fitted.

In normal use you shouldn't really have to use the rear anyway.....:nenau

If it's a bike with ESA, did you have the suspension set to 2 up with luggage? If it's a non ESA bike, did you crank the rear preload up towards maximum?
At about 90 mph the wind resistence [sic] feels like the power is 'hunting' or surging ?
If you're just running it in and it hasn't had the 600 mile service yet, 90 mph is outside the factory recommended running in limit.
Better lights.
Yes, I noticed this as well, especially with an HID fitted in dip beam.
