You should have already ordered it with all the options except the GPS. Ring the Dutchman and order one of those now! LED rear light from Nippy. Side panels, cruise control, hard part and handlebar bag from Wunderlich, Nippy again I think!

I spent a fortune on mods when I first bought my 1150 .... the only 'must have' is a GPS unit IMHO ... but even that is just personal preference.

Its a fabulous bike straight out of the box. Spend all the money you are about to waste on petrol, rubber and cheap hotels instead.

Are you buying the bike in Dublin? Any update on delivery date? Mine is on order since 20th January but just have a vague March date..

No. I am getting it in the UK. My pickup date is march 1st. The bike is more or less available now but there is a registration plate change in March and I have been advised to wait for that. I will get the reg number this week.

I am rather excited. I will be bringing it to Ireland for Paddy's weekend, driving up North though.
