After selling my '06 GSA in June this year, decided I missed it too much and ordered a GSA triple black today with added tinted screen. Pick up on 5/12-

Yea, I got an F800 bike today as a loaner, I would have thought it big once, but its like roller skate after the GS

I looked into doing a deal on a GS Triple Black but all the bikes in dealer stock or currently available for delivery before 31st December (hence qualify for the £800 voucher) are full spec bikes ie Premium and Dynamic packs

I only wanted one with the Comfort Pack & ABS

Voucher deal ends in December and there is currently no offer for bikes registered in 2012 from BMW on the table. I reckon by the end of quarter 2 tho they will have to do something

Hi Guys, i'm new here, but i picked up my 1200 Triple Black GS on October 24th from Chester Motorad and have had a great time with it since, having arrived from a Honda 1300 Pan European and Honda Varadero (that i still have), have fitted from new, Adventure screen, Adventure panniers, Adventure rear rack, and the LED aux. lights, engine bars, etc. etc. Can't wait to use it in anger now, any hints/tips to keep it looking and running good would be welcomed.

Nice bikes these GSA's!

If you want to keep it pristine coat it liberally(apart from the brakes) with either ACF50, Scotoil FS365, GT85, WD40 or any other suitable corrosion inhibitor!

These bikes will corrode quicker than an 'expense scandal convicted' MP's reputation if you ride it in the salt and put it away in the shed for more than a few days without protecting it with any of the above.

Looks Like I got the last one available in that spec before the end of December then
Only wanted ABS and heated grips but went for one with ABS and Comfort pack in order to get the current £800 discount

Sure there will be another offer before too long.

Hi Paul S . Pickin my new GS1200 next Sat from Clarkes. Couldn`t get the £800 rolled in the deal, so went for the Vario panniers & paid £150 for the topbox & mounting bracket (included in the PCP deal. Got a good discount off the list price tho, as I had the showroom bike & it included comfort pack & dynamic pack.Was gonna try for a new triple Black but decided I was runnin out of time for the £800 goodies offer, so went for the deal offered me on the showroom Blue bike. Can`t wait now. Just gotta try & sell my 10 Plate Bandit 1250 now

THAT is money well spent!
I'm super chuffed with mine on my bike............. looks good and really functional.
When fitting make sure the first bolt is loose enough to allow movement of the cover to position the other bolts... but has gone in far enough that it bites properly and does not strip your thread....

Speak to a dealer! Or several, I wanted a GSA Triple black to a specific spec - dealer tells me I lose 800 incentive on TB and 2012 delivery for my exact spec. I was offered a grey version, specs beyond my choice, discounted to below my spec + the 800 incentive

Picked it up yesterday but only managed 100 miles on it before family duties got in the way
So far really pleased with it - feels so much more flickable than the GSA it replaces

Now swapped over the ali luguage, got the sat nav plummed in plus mud sling and fender extender fitted and ready to go when time and weather permit

I`m in a bit of a dilemma at the moment before Xmas+800 in xtras or 2012 reg it`s when not if. enjoy the bike.
