New 1250 gs owner

I have recently purchased a 2023 GS1250 with just 1000 miles on the clock, can I please ask a couple of questions to other owners
1. Does anyone hear a bit of engine tingling at different revs ?
2. I have filled the tank three times and I can get in about 17lites even though I only have less than a 25 mile range ?

1. Yes, at between 2500 and 4000 rpm. It's normal, all 1250s I've ridden have done it.

2. That's normal too, you'd probably find that you'd get more than 25mile range if you pushed it. Don't take my word for it though, I don't want to be responsible for you having a heart attack after pushing 250kg for miles to a garage.

My 2023 1250GS had only covered a total of 650 miles as of last week, I’m now in Spain and it will have done 2500 miles when I catch the ferry, I’ve only ever put 98 ron and there’s definitely no tingling vibes through the rev range, even the mirrors stay clear.

Everything is noisy with a GS it’s part of the character. Regarding filling up, just fill her up...95 is fine. Enjoy your bike. I have a 23 plate Rallye GS.

I have done the lot 1100 / 1150 / 1200 and now the 1250
I didn’t think the GS1300 was a proper GS
(That will upset some people) and couldn’t wait to hand it back after a test ride
