Question, if i called 4 dealers for a price on a new 1200ADV would i get the same answer ?
Got a price from Clarks in Brum on Sat, is there any point in calling round ?

There has to be a point, surely...

The Dealers can't all be so arrogant as to not see that it's a buyers market.

But then what do I know, the last new bike I bought was decades ago

I would......one might need to meet that months sales figures more than the others...so even if the money stays the same you migh get some incentives...free sat navs etc...defo worth a try.

And haggle, (wee white lies) play them off each other....that's what it's all about. I once had to BM (Car) dealers outbidding each other...I went for the more expensive car....but they threw in free servicing, matts and a tank of fuel..All the more cash in your hipper. Good luck.

Oi Git! Come and buy my 1150....since I've just bought the 1200GSA they had in stock at Clarks.... They did do a deal "sweetener" for me though...

Got B#W dealers hanging out of my a#se but £14k is a big big commitment, thats 2 x jap superbikes for example. Decision day today as the RC8's are being snapped up fast.

Well the £6k difference and the fact i have never owned a KTM won after several nights with little sleep it was very very close and Uglies 1150 nearly got me, will miss the Bandit and may yet go down the ADV route but i want some spare tokens for tours and hols / biking doo's this year as i have a whole summer passout from the missus

For Bowser and anyone else interested the main thing to consider is the timing, go for the last few weeks of the quarter (ie now Mar is end of 1st Qtr) and you may find a dealer who needs to sell 1 more to meet a bonus quota. Do shoparound and defo post on here as a lot of dealers checkout the site

Well i just got a new 08 2010 reg KTM RC8 and a few bits thrown in for £8k, still a few left but not many.
Ref the ADV that lot in Northampton have one and they offered the best deal, if you go for it tell him i put you onto it as he thought he had me and was bit upset . I thought he had me too for a while
