That is . . the new owner of an old Airhead . . .

Robmack took this to the "Skye Soiree" on Friday, having picked it up the day before.

By Saturday morning he had the back-end stripped out and was running about on his 1150GS :D

There is talk of a powder-coated frame and other improvements, so expect him to be along soon.

p.s. - Brassmonkey made it to Skye - bike fixed and running well :thumb2.

Shep also got there on his 100GS.

It saves you throwing the Paralever down the road again :D

Doh :blast - I'm never going to live that down am I :tears

(Unfortunately . . the 1150's been on its side (gently) a couple of times as well . . Not this time thankfully. Bloomin' great heavy, tall, top-heavy monsters :rob ).

I want a PD sooooo bad!

You mean you haven't got one!! Everybody over here rides them I thought it would be the same in Germany :nenau

Cool bikes? Or they were until RobMack dredged that one out of a Scottish lock and let us all down :D

This is actually my third airhead guys:blast
Just cant seem to leave them alone.
As for finding it in a loch Rob it's worse looking in the flesh:D
It's all there though and has not been messed with.
last owner for 14 years who was almost crying when i put it on the trailer:D

I guess it must have been found in either the Caledonian, Crinan or Forth & Clyde Canal then as they have the only locks in Scotland.

There used to be 13 at the Falkirk end of the Edinburgh to Glasgow Union Canal - but they have been replaced by the Falkirk Wheel.

Everything else is a Loch (apart from the Lake of Menteith).

:D :D :D

(I'll get my anorack).

Bob.
