Taiwan company has 2 interesting Bluetooth devices for motorbikes.

BlueVirtu BSH-01 is a BT headset that uses A2DP bluetooth (stereo). Interesting, but nothing really new apart from the stereo .... and ....

the BlueVirtu BAT-01. A comms device that accepts 4 wired devices and sends it via Bluetooth (A2DP) to ANY Bluetooth headset (not just theirs).

Interesting stuff....

BlueVirtu BAT/BSH article

The interesting thing is that you can buy the BAT-01 and continue to use another BT headset, listen to bike-to-bike, iPod, GPS, etc, all wireless.

The only downside is that the BAT-01 can't be wired to the bike. But batteries last 20 hours...

That Bat 1 sounds like a winner, any idea if its available over here and how much for?

No, I had some initial email exchange with some technical questions, and got the price of them, but didn't ask yet about exports.

I'm planing to bum a test model of them so that I can write a review and run some computability tests. But it'll depend on how many people click on their links. The more, the strong my negotiation powers with them...

Been in touch with them. They'll be announcing distributors shortly, plus they'll have a eShop online shortly.

A demo unit will be sent to me shortly for review purposes...
