new battery needed

need a new battery for 02 1150gs. Where is A: good place to get it at a reasonable price and quickly and B: how much and what type been to two local shops and they cant find a number can anyone help thanks

I got one of these Kung Long batteries, a couple of years ago. It's been excellent, but was only €42 incl delivery back then.

I have an Odyssey battery on my '99 R1150GS. I didn't get the extension pieces but instead slowly and carefully bent my battery cable terminations to fit.

It has been very excellent so far. Cranking speed has increased nicely

I always recommend a BMW original gel battery.

They may seem expensive but they are good, and i see so many cheap shite batteries give problems and fail in a short period of use.

Steptoes right. I fitted a cheaper branded battery, failed within a week. It was replaced and the new one lasted about two months (and thats with it plugged into my optimate when the bike is not in use). Bought an original BMW battery, fits perfect, no further problems. I think the cheap ones hate ABS.

Thanks for all the advice seen cheaper batteriesa for about 60 battery from bmw 89 so deceided to go for that as I am sure it will do the job plus 2 yrs warrenty. Thanks again
