New bike bought :)

Yes, the 14K one is still there.. Nice bike but lower the miles the better.. this one has BMW comfort seats and tinted screen...

Shame you didn't buy mine,no issues at all and well looked after.Less miles doesn't mean anything ,in this instance anyhow.

Maybe I should? It will be fine with new cams... who's to say yours isn't about to go??

Your right of course ,it's a lottery buying a pre owned bike ,at least you have the warranty.I just know mine was perfect when I chopped it in,having said that 14,000 miles 2 up a problem with the ESA could be round the corner.:thumb2

Have just filled out their 4 question online questionnaire... I'll expect a call soon then 😁

Now that is something really interesting, certainly explained a lot to me.

What's at the other side (RHS).. I'd expect it's a clamp. With oil and clamped up, can if still tap? Did the Bush in the next vid take away any noise?...

It would indeed... the fact you have to fix something that should be engineered to perfection is all very sad. But there again, when they only have to last 20k these days, close enough will be fine 🙄

Or does it need that mini space for heat expansion etc etc, I aint no Engineer but surely BMW are..............:nenau:nenau

Youd hope so, but I'm not sure.
They appear to suffer the same caliber of young 'design Engineers" that I do at work. Not a clue !

Well, two new exhaust cams and its all quiet now on the GS.. sounds the best I've had... RHS was shot, LHS had started to pick up... cheese indeed.. hope these ones last a bit longer!!
