There are just soo many people on here its just untrue!!! Just got myself a GS800F, but know absolutely NO-ONE!!. If you're local and wouldnt mind saying hello then please do, would be nice to go out on the bike other than in my own company. someone to take the piss out of etc etc etc,lol. Not yet taken it off road and sure as hell not gonna do it on my own, so if you think you could handle showing a new person the best routes, cafes etc etc then feel free to leave a message, as am off work now till the 15th December WOHOOOOO:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah:blagblah

I to am the same, i have recently just purchased a 1200gsa and am looking to meet up with fellow riders. I dont own a car and I do ride all year round ALL WEATHERS. Is there any people out there who want to catch up, its a start there are two people in the area now.

I am out here......!
 
well, if you fancy a bit of a run (less miles from Basingstoke than Camberley) there is always someone to chat to Wed eves and Sat/Sun at Loomies Cafe, the old Little Chef on the A32/A272 cross at Meon Hut

then post winter theres Alton Cafe....

Why not pop along to your local dealer, there are 3 near you, one in Alton hampshire, one in Guildford Surry, one in Oxford. pop in to there show rooms, sometimes they have a list of events.:bounce1
Pinned, that they know of, or have put together, or log onto there web sites, click on events, then if you can attend or think this might interest you. Or keep an eye on this area, for ride outs near you.;)

Then enjoy, then at some point you will meet one of us, and we are really friendly, stupid, old, little over weight talk about everything, and eat have fun fella dont be like me have a bike then have to sell it cos of her who was indoors. :blast
 
Personally, I'd like a cabin fever relaxing brunch/evening meal in a pub/hut - the North London lot do one, why not us !!

Anyone know a suitable place on the Surrey/Hampshire borders?
 
Nelson's Diner is quite popular with Harley riders and American car drivers. It's on the A339 between Basingstoke and Newbury. Open Mon - Sun for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

They do English Breakfasts; but if you're feeling that you're missing out on being a diabetic, they also do the American style pancakes with maple syrup and bacon. Everything else is burger and chips I think.

planning on a run to Newbury to meet some duke boys...if the weather aint that great may just pop in and join you if thats ok :)

I'm up for meeting folks in this area who are new, like me to this forum. I'm very close to junc/9 M25, so easy access all areas, Surrey and beyond.
But, can't make this Sunday (7th) for breakkie/brunch as I'm poppin upto NEC for any last minute deals etc....:)

1st Sunday of the month at the ACE CAFE. There's a bunch of regular tossers from this parish that meet there for breckie, banter and general tyre kicking. I won't be there this Sunday as off to the NEC:D. I'm near Maidenhed and always up for a bit of a blat:augie. A few of us meet up down at Newlands corner for coffee followed by a great ride down to Box Hill via the "Captains Ring" :augie. (do a search for "The Captains Ring for some vids and other info:thumb2).

Same here, and given a choice, I'd take the A339 over the North Circular anytime!

To be fair, you will get literally dozens of tossers there on a Sunday. One day I counted over 50 GS's, nearly half the bikes there overall, IIRC.

The Captain's ring will be renamed I'm sure ... :augie ... but as SADO says - a good bunch of SE tossers meet up at Newlands from time to time and go for 'quick' blats - but beware of the bastud child of Satan (black Tour X) on his 1150SE ... he has a habbit of filming tossers ... but he is a good bloke ...:thumb

Love to meet up with all you guys again perhaps at Salisbury plain when the weather picks up in the spring ... :thumb
