New bike day!

Do those heated grips have a closed, or open end?
ie, can you fit Barkbusters solid bar handguards into the ends of the bars with these?

never seen the Acewell heated grips before.

thanks

The Acewell IS plug and play, so long as you have the gs loom.
Mikey didn’t have the gs loom with the round multi wire plug that would make the Acewell ca85 a plug and play option. That’s why he had to buy the round electric connector.

I fitted the Acewell to my g/s , and it really is plug and play, so long as you set the ratio right for the wheel circumference. I had to play around with the numbers til I could get it to read the speed correctly…. Now it’s very accurate when compared with gps speed.

Where can you find the gs loom?
Can’t see any mention on digital speedos website

contact Acewell and they do a “plug and play” Acewell CA85.
not sure if it’s on the website as such, but phone them, and they will do one.
I thought you had bought the connector that fits to the standard gs g/s loom.

well….. they certainly used to do the plug n play CA85 when 8 got mine a few years back.
I bought straight from Acewell, not from digital speedo website.

ps. Thanks for the info on the heated grips having holes at end. If I need to replace my oxford heated grips I will get
these as I like the integrated button.

keep the updates coming, bikes looking great

The ones I got for my basic and the project were both plug and play into the GS loom. I got them from motorworks

Just contact Acewell, and buy direct from them. They are a good British company, and will answer any daft questions you might have over the phone, with good grace.
old style service!…… unusual these days, but great to deal with (I don’t work for them etc, just a happy customer)
