New bike day!

Bye bye 1250, hello 1300.

Picked it up yesterday and have done just under 100 miles so far. It's excellent. Things I love so far:

1. Suspension is night and day vs the 1250
2. Wind protection is also excellent. Still a little wind noise but zero turbulence. Screen is also lower with better overall visibility
3. The forged wheels are fucking sexy. The bike feels so much more nimble on tip in and when changing direction
4. Active ride heigh is great around town. The overall balance of the bike make filtering a breeze and it'll happily sit at 2mph crawling without feeling like it's about to tip over
5. The green is beautiful

Hard agree. The forged wheels might be my favourite thing on the bike.

just had another look. the forged wheels are lovely on their own but the green scheme looks so much better without the gold wheels. good choice.

Looks good with black wheels rather than gold. Is the zuast noisy? Does it irritate at speed on a constant throttle.....ah, you are running in?

It’s quieter than the 1250 stock exhaust. No idea if it wakes up at higher revs as still running it in.

Engine itself has a chatter from the shift cam and a whine that wasn’t there previously. I don’t find it annoying, just different.
