New bike. Head or heart?

Not many play heavily offroad like you Tim....the HP2 would be a wreck in a few months ( hours !!)......also.....well WELL overpriced anyway for what you need...get 'berg :thumb

Good siebenrock for sale btw ;)

You had a go on my 525 last weekend thats light with plenty of go .........didnt seem to float your boat Tim.

go with the heart mate but if you get the Hp2 stuck in a bog your on your own son:D

A bit of each....

Heart when I were a yoot...
Head despatch days.....
Heart with my HD's
and now head and heart with the GS....and happy:thumb2

berg

If its down to just those two i'd co with the berg. The CCM is a pile of shit, no joke, They fall to bits. the Bergs only a bit better, great bike when they work but to much exposed to get wrecked off road ie all the electics. you wont go wrong with a 400 ktm of suzuki drz if you want something with a bit of poke try a wr or crf in 4 banger mode or either a 300 gasser or ktm exc, both awsome bikes that will take far more abuse than you will ever be able to give them.:thumb2

mutley that mine get yer filthy hands off

yeh baby. i didn't mention the rxv just in case it's a mental pig on speed. but it's mine now so come the week after next i'll tell you if its up for sale or being part ex'd for a HP2..:o

Thanks for that:thumb

The new Bergs built at the KTM factory with different carb and ignition seem to be sorted.
KTMs, yes good bikes but the countryside is full of them, and must say riding Ming's 520 last week was impressive. The KTM 300 two stoke must be good
Jap bikes? Been there and done that and none of them do it for me.

Tried a Husaberg again yesterday..wow pulls yer arms off:D

Er........... 525 if you dont mind :spitfire :spitfire

That said I know people who have had a Ktm 520 swapped for the 525 and didnt like it as much:nenau

Tim,
can you see yourself buying an HP2 and using it off road when you're ten years older?
I couldn't, that's why I got mine now. Plenty of time in the future for lightweight tackle. :rob

Tim has been thinking about getting a smaller, lighter bike for some time :augie

I've been watching KTMs on Ebay on and off for a while, I know they're good but as the seller says' "I'd rather stick wasps up my arse" (not really:eek: ):D
A 525 could be tempting as long as it was'nt orange:monkeypiz

Think I blew the rear shock my DR650 yesterday, the fecking thing spat me off:spitfire Twice:spitfire :spitfire

Re the Husaberg, Tina says wouldn't I be better off getting a brand new one:clap :kissy2 :clap feckin result:D
