Picked up my F800GS yesterday, done about 500 miles so far, much of which was the journey home from collecting it from the IOM. Not as comfy as my old 1150GSA on the motorway, but feels like a 125 by comparison in weight, hard to beat in the twistys and I'd forgotton what a decent gearbox felt like could almost be a suzuki! Not so much torque, but much peakier (if there's such a word) in fact rev it out through the gears and it's hard to hold on. Happy so far but time will tell.

nice bike, hope you enjoy....:beerjug:

you should go out for a spin with Klanky, would be good to see a photo of two 800s drowning in a bog together....:green gri ............:D

Cracking looking bike :thumb

I can see my Street triple going up for sale soon :augie

crackin' looking bike in black.

Been wondering lately about a bike for touring and one for fun round the doors / lanes. 1150 GSA fits the bill for both, but not really motorway friendly at higher speeds in europe and a bit heavy for country lanes / green lanes, and your pics just got me thinking.......

Suspect that I'll stick with current bike for a while, but one can dream.

Cheers
